Indian Casino Eugene Oregon

SALEM — Leaders of an American Indian reservation in Oregon shut down its casino and several other facilities Monday after an employee contracted coronavirus, and a state health official said. There are eight American Indian tribes that own casinos in Oregon. These casinos are built and operated under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act enacted by the U.S. Congress in 1988. The law created the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) to regulate Indian gaming in Oregon.
